Customer Service Representative – Energy Services
Covalen are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support our client’s Commercial Sales and Operations teams. This is primarily a back-office administration and renewal processing role, with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and customer service.
You will process commercial energy sales and renewals, maintain accurate customer and contract information across billing and CRM systems, and respond to customer and broker queries. As the business evolves, you may also support inbound/outbound calls, email queries, process improvement initiatives, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
Process new sales, contract renewals, and customer/broker requests accurately and within agreed SLAs.
Review and maintain customer and contract information across CRM, billing, and other systems.
Ensure high standards of accuracy, quality, compliance, and confidentiality.
Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Handle customer, broker, and stakeholder queries professionally by phone and email.
Identify and escalate issues appropriately.
Support process improvements, training, and wider operational initiatives.
Adapt to changing business requirements and support other functions when required.
Key Skills & Experience
Previous experience in customer service, administration, operations, or back-office support.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to follow processes and work to strict deadlines and SLAs.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Confident and professional telephone manner.
Strong computer literacy and ability to work across multiple systems.
Experience with CRM, billing systems, or Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is desirable.
Experience in energy, utilities, financial services, telecommunications, or other regulated environments is advantageous.
Customer-focused, adaptable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Further Details
Contract: Temporary, full-time, until end November 2026
Location: Dublin Airport offices & Work from Home
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm / 9:30am–5:30pm
Salary: €14.15 per hour
