As a Process Technician, you will:
Maintain and optimize performance on high-volume automated manufacturing lines
Monitor line performance data to identify & resolve downtime, cycle time, and yield issues
Perform hands-on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting
Support planned and reactive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
Make real-time adjustments to improve efficiency, output, and reliability
Repair, replace & fine-tune key components including robots, sensors, and vision systems
Support equipment setup, calibration, and technical changeovers
Partner with Engineering to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues
Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and high performance
Qualification/Requirement:
Minimum NFQ Level 6 qualification (120 credits) in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related technical discipline (essential requirement)
Proven hands-on experience in a technical environment (e.g. maintenance, automation, electrical, mechanical, fitting, motor mechanics, etc.)
Exposure to automated or high-volume manufacturing equipment (robotics, PLCs, sensors, pneumatics, vision systems)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
Good communication and teamwork skills A proactive, continuous improvement mindset
Min of 2 years’ exp working in a hands-on mechanical/technical environment
Interest, energy, and motivation to work in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
Experience of working within a team
Excellent communication skills
Able to work in a 28 day shift patter
