About the Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Equipment Engineer to join a leading global organisation specialising in advanced materials engineering solutions for the semiconductor and display manufacturing industries. This role is ideal for mechanically or electrically focused engineers who thrive on hands-on troubleshooting and solving complex electro-mechanical issues.
You will provide onsite installation, maintenance, and technical support for highly advanced equipment. To ensure your success, you will receive an extensive 8-week international training programme at one of our global facilities before transitioning to the 24/7 shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic, plasma, gas, and electro-mechanical systems.
- Installation & Qualification: Install, qualify, and repair complex electrical and mechanical systems onsite.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex technical issues using digital analytics tools and interpret electrical/mechanical schematics.
- Customer Support: Provide onsite technical assistance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of health and safety at all times.
Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Right to Work: Full, unrestricted working rights in Ireland (Stamp 4 or EU passport).
- Licence: Full, valid driving licence.
- Availability: Ability to work a 24/7 four-cycle shift rotation and travel internationally for initial training.
Desirable Criteria:
- Education: Technical qualification or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read schematics and use hand tools/digital multimeters.
- Experience: Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum systems, or thermodynamics.
- Core Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and basic proficiency in MS Office.
