CPL Healthcare has partnered up with a non-profit disability service provider that supports people with severe and profound intellectual and physical disabilities. The organisation is promoting independence, choice, and inclusion within local communities. Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Person in Charge to lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services for individuals with intellectual disabilities within a community setting.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Level 7 Degree in Social Care, or
- A Level 7 Degree in Applied Social Care Studies, or
- A Nursing Qualification in Intellectual Disability, Psychiatric, General, or Children's Nursing, or
- Meet the criteria of an Unqualified Social Care Worker with relevant experience at a similar level.
AND
- A suitable Management Qualification (essential)
- Full clean Irish driving licence and access to their own vehicle
- Registration with CORU (where applicable)
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A minimum of 3 years' management experience
- Experience working in a senior management role within healthcare or a relevant care setting
- Proven ability to manage and collaborate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Experience supervising, managing, and developing staff teams
- Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities
- Experience working with individuals who present behaviours that challenge
- Experience delivering and overseeing care services in a community-based setting
