Psychologists, Staff & Senior Grades required for North County Dublin Child & Adolescent Primary Care Psychology service.
Vacancies exist in the following locations:
Balbriggan, Swords, Portmarnock, Kilbarrack, Coolock. Employment would be for 3 months in the first instance with a strong likelihood of continuation.
Full time and part time options are available.
Job responsibilities:
Provide counselling and psychotherapy in line with HSE best practice, across the quantum of services including provision of counselling and therapy to children and adolescents
Conduct assessments and individual and/or group counselling/psychotherapy with clients of the service
Maintain assigned clinical caseload
The HSE primary care Psychology service provides support to those with mental health difficulties that affect daily life, including:
depression
stress
anger
anxiety, panic, phobias and obsessions
relationship problems
bereavement and loss
self-esteem
coping with a health condition
Children with a disability, autism, or ADHD that does not need the support of a team or specialist
The Candidate:
A recognised post-graduate qualification as a clinical, counselling or educational psychologist
Validation of qualifications with the Dept of Health if qualified outside of the Republic of Ireland
Permission to work in Ireland
