ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client are hiring an Investment Operations Supervisor to join their County Meath based office. This role oversees the day-to-day processing of policyholder investment transactions, leads a small team, and acts as a key link between operations, customer service, and distribution partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and mentor a team of investment operations analysts
- Allocate workloads and monitor team performance against SLAs and deadlines
- Oversee accurate, timely processing of policyholder transactions (new business, top-ups, withdrawals, switches, encashments)
- Ensure investment instructions from policyholders and intermediaries are processed correctly and on time
- Resolve customer queries and complaints relating to investment transactions, escalating where needed
- Support clear, accurate customer communications and policy statements
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with intermediaries, brokers, and distribution partners
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the customer experience
- Maintain up-to-date standard operating procedures
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years' experience in investment operations, insurance operations, or life assurance administration
- Prior supervisory or team-lead experience is highly desirable
- Experience with investment-linked insurance products and policyholder transaction processing
- Strong customer service focus and communication skills
- Third-level degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work to deadlines
