Our client in South Dublin is seeking an ambitious, organised and process-driven Key Control Operative to join their growing team. This role is responsible for the secure management, tracking and release of vehicle keys while supporting the smooth operation of a busy vehicle auction site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, log, store, and track vehicle keys.
- Maintain accurate records within company systems.
- Issue and retrieve keys for internal departments.
- Release keys to authorised buyers and transporters.
- Complete daily key audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Report missing, damaged or incorrect keys.
- Support auction operations and ensure key availability.
- Work closely with Yard, Admin, Transport and Accounts teams.
- Adhere to security, GDPR, and health & safety procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Reliable, trustworthy and security-conscious.
- Good IT and database skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Experience in auctions, motor trade, logistics, or security is advantageous but not essential.
Payrate and Working hours:
- Full-time position (5 days over 7).
- €14.15 - €15.00 per hour.
