As a Process Technician, you will:
- Maintain and optimize performance on high-volume automated manufacturing lines
- Monitor line performance data to identify & resolve downtime, cycle time, and yield issues
- Perform hands-on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting
- Support planned and reactive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
- Make real-time adjustments to improve efficiency, output, and reliability
- Repair, replace & fine-tune key components including robots, sensors, and vision systems
- Support equipment setup, calibration, and technical changeovers
- Partner with Engineering to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues
- Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and high performance
Qualification/Requirement:
- Minimum NFQ Level 6 qualification (120 credits) in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related technical discipline (essential requirement)
- Proven hands-on experience in a technical environment (e.g. maintenance, automation, electrical, mechanical, fitting, motor mechanics, etc.)
- Exposure to automated or high-volume manufacturing equipment (robotics, PLCs, sensors, pneumatics, vision systems)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
- Min of 2 years' experience working in a hands-on mechanical/technical environment
- Interest, energy, and motivation to work in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
- Experience of working within a team
- Able to work in a 28-day shift pattern
