Flooring & Carpet Sales Executive
About the Role
Love interiors and helping people fall in love with their space? We're looking for a friendly, design-savvy Sales Assistant to join our carpet and wood flooring showroom. This role is perfect for someone who's genuinely passionate about interiors, enjoys building relationships with customers, and takes pride in guiding people from first inspiration all the way through to a beautifully finished floor. Both full-time and part-time candidates are welcome — we're looking for the right person to join the team.
What You'll Be Doing
Helping Customers Create Beautiful Spaces
- Warmly greet customers and offer tailored advice based on their style and flooring needs
- Follow up on leads with great communication to turn enquiries into sales
- Share in-depth knowledge of carpet, wood, laminate and vinyl flooring options
- Guide customers on colours, textures and combinations that bring their interior vision to life
- Help with measurements, samples and quotes
Keeping Things Running Smoothly
- Process sales transactions and keep accurate records
- Coordinate with fitting teams to help manage installation schedules
- Keep the showroom looking its best, with fresh, visually appealing displays
Bringing Ideas to the Team
- Contribute design ideas for in-store promotions or social media content
- Stay up to date on the latest interior trends and flooring innovations
- Work toward sales targets and other team KPIs
What You'll Bring
- Previous retail or sales experience (flooring, furniture or interiors background a plus)
- A genuine interest in interior design or home décor
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A sharp eye for detail and a strong visual sense
- Basic computer literacy (POS systems, email, Microsoft Office)
