Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Reconciliation Analyst to support the reconciliation of large volumes of financial transaction data. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing charge, billing and transactional datasets, identifying discrepancies, and working closely with Finance teams to ensure billing accuracy and financial integrity.
This role is ideal for someone with experience handling high-volume financial data, performing complex reconciliations, and investigating variances across multiple systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform reconciliation of charges, billing and financial transactions across multiple systems.
- Analyse large datasets to ensure accuracy between billed amounts and underlying transaction records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances and reconciliation breaks.
- Identify instances of overbilling, underbilling or missing charges.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Billing and Operations teams to resolve issues and improve financial controls.
- Produce exception reports and provide recommendations for issue resolution.
- Support month-end and periodic reconciliation activities.
- Ensure data integrity across financial and operational systems.
- Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and automation initiatives.
- Maintain clear documentation of reconciliation processes and findings.
Required Experience
- Previous experience in a Reconciliation Analyst, Financial Operations Analyst, Billing Analyst, Revenue Analyst or similar role.
- Strong experience reconciling high volumes of financial and transactional data.
- Experience investigating billing, revenue or transaction discrepancies.
- Ability to analyse and interpret large data sets with a high degree of accuracy.
- Experience working closely with Finance and Accounting teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
