Quality Environmental Assurance Coordinator On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Quality Environmental Assurance Coordinator. This is a contract role of 6 months. The role will be fully site based in the client site in Citywest. Salary approx €35-€40k per year. Role description: The Quality Administrator supports the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the site’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001), contributes to promoting the importance of high-quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The role ensures consistent control of product quality and environmental compliance through effective coordination of inspection, sampling, documentation, and system processes. |
A key part of the position is to manage the flow of production samples, ensure timely testing and reporting, and authorise product release or rejection in accordance with specifications and customer requirements.
. Quality & Environmental Management System Support
Support the maintenance, implementation, and improvement of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
Lead internal audits, ensuring timely reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
Contribute to the planning and successful completion of external audits
Maintain controlled documentation and records for both quality and environmental systems.
Authoring, review and update of Quality documents (SOPs, Wis, Plans etc) as required.
Support compliance with environmental requirements, including waste management, utility consumption and effluent monitoring.
Contribute to achieving environmental objectives, monitoring key performance indicators, and supporting sustainability initiatives.
Product Sampling, Testing & Release
Manage daily batch processing through the Quality Department to ensure timely turnaround and efficient workflow
Ensure samples are provided, logged, tested, and results recorded in line with product specifications and testing plans.
Review laboratory and inspection data to confirm conformance to requirements.
Authorise product release or rejection based on test results and established criteria, escalating any quality issues to the Quality Manager.
Maintain traceability and ensure all batch records are complete and accurate prior to release.
Non-Conformance & Corrective Action
Record and track internal and external non-conformances.
Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of Non-conformance and Complaints processes
Support root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Verify completion and effectiveness of corrective actions.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare, review, and control documentation including test certificates, inspection records, and control charts.
Maintain quality and environmental performance data for management review.
Support preparation of customer and certification documentation (e.g. TÜV).
Provide timely quality reports to support site KPI reviews.
Continuous Improvement
Lead improvement and problem-solving initiatives focused on product consistency, test methods, waste reduction, and environmental performance.
Contribute to initiatives improving first-pass yield, reducing defects, and enhancing compliance.
Promote awareness of quality and environmental requirements throughout the site.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
3-5 years industry experience in a Quality role.
Bachelors Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
Knowledge of quality standards (ISO9001 and 14001)
Experience with co-ordination of daily batch quality testing
Desirable:
Experience leading and executing internal audits in line with company and regulatory requirements
Competencies
A highly motivated individual with a structured and methodical approach, with strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to build and enhance productive relationships with internal teams and external partners through effective collaboration
Customer & Commercial focus and quality improvement
Strong general IT skills required including the ability to learn new systems
