Senior Facilities Manager (General Services Manager) - GMP Environment

Our client, a leading global provider of Integrated Facilities Management services, is seeking a General Services Manager / Senior Facilities Manager to lead soft service delivery within a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager, Senior Soft Services Manager, IFM Manager or Site Services leader with experience in a GMP environment, to take ownership of a major client account, overseeing operational performance, compliance, financial management and stakeholder engagement across a critical pharmaceutical campus in Dublin West.
The successful candidate will operate as the senior on-site facilities leader, ensuring all services are delivered to the highest standards while maintaining full compliance within a GMP-regulated environment.
The Role
Reporting into the wider account leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of outsourced facilities services, acting as the key point of contact for both the client and internal stakeholders.
You will oversee the performance of multiple service lines, ensuring contractual obligations, service level agreements, quality standards and financial targets are consistently achieved.
This role requires a strong understanding of GMP-regulated environments and the ability to lead large operational teams while maintaining exceptional client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all facilities management activities across a busy pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
Act as the primary client contact for all site-based FM services.
Manage the delivery of multiple service lines including cleaning, catering, waste, reception and site support services.
Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, HSEQ and all regulatory requirements.
Drive service excellence through effective KPI and SLA management.
Manage budgets, forecasting, monthly reporting and overall financial performance.
Lead, develop and motivate site-based teams and service partners.
Monitor contractor performance and vendor compliance.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement operational efficiencies.
Support business growth through additional services, innovations and contract enhancements.
Develop strong working relationships with key client stakeholders and senior leadership teams.

Essential Experience
Minimum 4 years' management experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device environment.
Strong understanding of GMP and GDP compliance requirements.
Experience managing outsourced facilities management services.
Exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial awareness with budget and financial management responsibility.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
Strong performance management, service delivery and compliance focus.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Desirable Experience
Experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
Multi-service Integrated Facilities Management experience.
IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification.
Knowledge of SAP or similar reporting systems.
Experience driving business improvement and operational transformation initiatives.
