Travel Sales Consultant
Location: Dublin 2
Salary: €30,000-€32,000 depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time | Office-based
The Role
We are recruiting a Travel Sales Consultant to join an established Irish-owned tour operator specialising in pilgrimage and group travel.
This is a customer-focused role combining sales, customer service and administration. You will speak with customers both over the phone and face-to-face, helping them with travel enquiries, providing information on available trips and supporting them throughout the booking process.
Previous travel industry experience is not essential – we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys dealing with people and can provide a warm, patient and professional service.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries by phone and face-to-face
- Provide information on trips and support customers through the booking process
- Process bookings, applications and customer documentation
- Maintain accurate customer records and files
- Identify sales opportunities from incoming enquiries
- Provide reception and general office administration support
- Support new and existing customers with day-to-day queries
About You
- Strong customer service or customer-facing experience
- Friendly, patient and confident communicator
- Comfortable speaking with customers by phone and in person
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, travel, reception or administration would be beneficial, but travel experience is not required.
