Are you a passionate Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a real difference?
We're recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join a college in Kingston, supporting children and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and complex communication needs.
Working as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team, you'll deliver evidence-based interventions that empower children and young people to develop their communication skills, increase independence and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist PMLD caseload.
- Assess, diagnose and deliver speech and language therapy interventions.
- Develop personalised communication programmes and therapy goals.
- Work collaboratively with education staff, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews and clinical documentation.
- Provide advice, guidance and training to colleagues and carers.
