David Leithead
Country Managing Director
David Leithead is Country Managing Director for the UK at Cpl, based in London, and a member of the Group Executive Team. He brings over 30 years of experience in consulting, outsourcing and recruitment, with a career spanning senior leadership roles across the professional services and financial services sectors, in UK and Asia Pacific regions.
As Country MD, David is responsible for leading Cpl's operations and driving our growth across the UK market. Our businesses recruit, and supply in a variety of managed services and solutions, experienced, high‑calibre professionals who drive critical outcomes in public services, life sciences, technology, and commercial functions.
Alongside his day to day role. David participates in many sector forums and industry events and works pro bono in an advisory capacity to support young recruitment entrepreneurs. He is passionate about CSR, and has been responsible for leading on EDI both within his own employer as well as by getting involved with external enterprise and campaigns.
David holds a Law degree from the University of London.
